Then another one the next day, and the day after that. She named the game the AMSTATTLE Café, half Amsterdam and half Seattle, open daily. He kept showing up for his order.
Somewhere between the clues the answer became obvious. They have been solving things together ever since, usually before a workout and occasionally instead of one.
Product manager. Sets the puzzles, the roadmap and the pace on leg day.
Software engineer. Thinks in code. Will debug anything except his own dance moves.

So an engineer and a product manager did what they do with any hard problem. They kept shipping, one visit at a time.

The venue
Its architecture takes after Jantar Mantar, the 18th-century observatory whose stone instruments tell time by the sun. It sits under the Aravalli hills, about 45 minutes from Jaipur airport. We could not think of a better place to mark a moment.
